Which one triggered or caused the change - the anesthesia or surgury?
I recently had a surgical procedure. I had my soft pallet shortened, my uvula removed, and my nasal passages shrunken. During the procedure I was under general anesthesia I woke up in a cat scan. The reason was that my heart rate went to 150 bpm, my blood pressure dropped and my oxygen level dropped. Fluid was found in my lungs and quickly removed via medication.
