Which Anesthesia is used to do bladder outlet obstruction/tv

Hi to all,

Which Anesthesia is used to do above op as iam diabetic type 2 when i had a previous op would only do epidural is this the case or different at each hosp n how long would i need to stay in for. Also would i need insulin for the above or nt could i come home the same day.
I would be grateful if u could answer the above for me.
