Why don't doctors or should I say the "techs" who explain these procedures espicially the needle or core biopsy's explain about the metal tag left in the patients breast. I was recently recommended to have a core biopsy but do not want anything left behind in my breast. I can't seem to locate a doctor that will biopsy without leaving something behind. My breast has a very small non-palable mass in it and they even say in the report that it was most likely there before. I realize that this is probably not a big deal to them but it is to me. I have never had a surgery in my life so I want to know exactly what to expect.
