Re: 4 SurgerysYour post is a little scary to me! I had 2 surgeries for diverticulitus in Dec. 08. First one went "bad" due to infection and leakage. Now I have an ostomy bag after the second surgery and am scheduled for re-attachment of my colon in June. I'm a nervous wreck because more often than not I'm hearing horror stories about problems with re-attachment, residual problems, contingent problems after any colon/intestine surgery. I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope you find a pain-free solution.
Re: 4 SurgerysI didnt mean to scare you. Most of the problems that I have are a result of the mesh. Although there is still alot of pain, my body functions well and I lead a normal life(though I tend to be a little grouchy). My surgeon is terrific and continues to help me find solutions. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you are able to enjoy a sunny 4th of July with the only fireworks being those in the sky.
