It all started with meatloafMay 6 of this year I ate with my youngest daughter at a local buffet style restaurant. I ate one piece of meatloaf and some pot roast, my daughter at all chicken.

Re: It all started with meatloafDonna, I have severe diverticulitus and am scheduled for a colon resection in 2 weeks, but have spent tons of time in the hospital and with your exact symptoms. I can tell you what saved me from being put back in the hospital after I had to have an abcess drained because I couldn't keep any food in, as soon as I ate, didn't matter what it was it was right through me. I started taking a good probotic but I think what worked the VERY best was Greek Yogurt. It is actually awful, I add honey and or fruit to it but ate a cup twice a day and in a couple of days I was so much better, as soon as I ate it I felt better. It is full of protein that regular yoguart doesn't have, it has more live cultures that are destroyed when you get sick like this and that is why you can't get better. I have actually grown to like it and continue to eat it because the health factors far outweigh everything else, it is a little more expensive. I eat Chobani, the other one is Fage and euqally as good (for you). I've learned far more than I've wanted to in the last 3 months about my insides and can't wait for this to be over with, good luck.
