Looking to get surgery

Post a new topicby JoeWhite on Tue Apr 15, 2008 8:32 pm

Ok first let me say I hope I am allowed to post this in this board. If not I am very sorry.

Ok let me get right to it I have been suffering from a terrible prolaps of the colon/rectum for about 4-1/2 years that causes/forces me to be in the bathroom for 3 to 6 hours a day. And then to make things worse once I am out of the bathroom I still have to stay home to be near the bathroom for the remainder of the day. I can not see my family even on holidays. I have seen countless Doctors that span from private practices to U of M hospital and every other hospital in near me (Michigan). All Doctors agreeing on the problem and severity of it however all Doctors also agreeing that sense they do not know the cause of my problems it makes them extremely hard to fix and non have any success thus far. And I have faithfully done all that the Doctors have asked me to. Still no success. So here we go... I have done a extreme amount of self research and I have can up with a proceeder that I TRUELY BELEAVE WILL HELP and/or FIX ME. I am now looking for a Doctor that will simply take the time to listen to my ideas and help me iron out any and all details and hopefully will see some hope/promise in my work and try to make this happen for me as I am trying to get my life back.

So what I am trying to do is this. I would like to have a tube inserted into the lowest 6 to 8 inches or my colan/rectum/intestines that will have a cap (with a keyway so that it will not just come unscrewed during day activity). Then I would like to have a sleeve (for example a gastric bypass sleeve) wrapped around the tissues and muscles that surround the tube so that they can not move or reject the tube (hopefully this will lock the muscles and tissues into place). Then in order to clear the tube/stool passage I can buy and use a water spicket such as a the ones used by dentist so that there will be little water pressure. I would then (once the passage is cleared) use a small half mooned shaped schweig (of sorts) to dry the passage way to help prevent and bacteria growth.

Below I have provided 4 link to images that will hopefully explain/show my thoughts to anyone that will take the time to view them.

The 1st image is what I think the base design of the tube would need to be.
The 2nd image is what I think the base design of the tube would need to be with the cap and keyway added.
The 3rd image is how I the tube should be inserted.
The 4th image is were I think the sleeve would go.

Thank you so much for any help,
Joseph White
