Anybody had this surgery yet? How are you doing with this body altering procedure?

I just had one done 7 months ago! And not by choice mind you! I had a HUGE 17 pound GIST tumor which by the way, was malignant, growing in side around my stomach. It took 2 hospitals to figure this one out and the hospital that completed the surgery said it was the biggest one they ever removed! To this day I wonder about alot of things but I cannot question their decision to remove the stomach. I been adapting to living this way but the cancerous tumor is gone and 2 consecutive CT scans have confirmed this to date! I can live with the problems that exist because I am truly blessed and fortunate to even be alive today! The story goes into much detail but if anyone out there has any specific questions feel free to write me at [moderator note: e-mail address has been removed]. Have a blessed day!
