14 days postop

Post a new topicby livingwith on Thu Oct 02, 2008 3:00 pm

I’m doing much better now. There is still some bleeding and pain from BM’s but nothing compared to earlier. I’m off the pain meds and Tylenol. I’m thankful for a God that has brought me through the first 14 days when I thought it would never come.

I agree with your comment regarding God...without him, I would not be making it right now. I had my surgery three days ago and the pain is very intense. I have never felt this bad before but also know God is with me and giving me the grace to cope with it. I have been taking Motrin and not the Percoset as prescribed by my doctor since I didn't want to get "used to" the drug and become dependable on it. I pray the pain will subside soon and I start feeling better. In terms of anesthesia, I opted for the spinal block and I'll admit, I didn't feel a thing and I didn't have any complicatons. I did not want a general anesthesia. Thanks for your comments and I appreciate your prayers.
