Re: Haemorrhoids operationHi , i live in England, and had a hemorrhoidectomy on the 22/6 so i am ten days down the line, I am also in agony every time i need to go to the loo, to the point i feel i am gonna pass out. I have been taking lactulose to no avail. So now i am taking dulcolax, as i feel if i can pass more liquid motion it may not hurt as much. So far the burning pain is still there, and seems to carry on for hours after. Also considering the piles and skin tags were meant to have been cut away, then why does my bottom now look worse than before with swollen lumps. I am due to attend hospital on monday, which will be two weeks post op, where i will be asking the doctor some serious questions, cos as i feel now i wish i had never had the operation, and wud have put up with the bleeding, at least i didnt get any pain. As u had your op at a similar time i would be intersted to see how you get on.. Regards debbie
