Worse pain than labor by far. Seriously troublesome. It is constant, throbbing pain until a BM shoots the pain threshold up as high as it can go. I feel like I am going to pass out everytime I have a BM. I whimper and do my breathing exercises to get through it.
I am 10 days into recovery and still very, very miserable - but my body is also trying to recover from giving birth to my beautiful baby girl - so it is going crazy healing those wounds, breastfeeding, and dealing with the hemorrhoid...Read the full article

Hats off to you!! My sympathy for your situation....things will get better...give your self plenty of extra time!! laying on your side is probably the best thing you can do for yourself, that and keep breastfeeding....breastfeeding while side lying is a great position too!!!! I hope you have someone to help with the baby....I hope you don't have to have another hemmoroidectomy any time soon!!
