I had the operation on July 14, 2008 and I am still not healed as of today 3/1/09. I have gone through nothing but misery and have tried everything to heal from this operation. I was told I’d be good as new by labor day. I am in constant pain and my urologist believes there was nerve damage because I have the symptoms of a prostate infection, but have had every test and no evidence has shown any problems with my prostate or bladder.

Jim, or anyone else with similar symptoms. I read your post and realized this is exactly what I have been dealing with. I had surgery 4 weeks ago and keep telling myself that this is just the healing process and that it will get better with time. It doesn't sound like that is the case. I also have about 4-5 hrs, after a BM, when my prostate area hurts so bad that I can't sit. I was wondering what the results of the nerve conduction test showed or if you could give me some advice. I can't work or go anywhere because of the discomfort and really need to do something. Thanks
