Hi fiona, I want u to know that u are not alone! I had my procedure done 1 month ago, and believe me I know what u are going through. I dread the thought of having to go to the bathroom and, yes, it does feel like I have to go again and again until my bowels are empty. I feel very frustrated and sometims I get so tired and feel so sore that all I can do is cry! The pain of having a simple bowel movement is overwhelming and no one seems to believe how horrible it is! My doctor prescribed 'Liquid Parafin' to take orally every night and that seems to help the stool pass a little easier, but it is yuck! Try it, it may help. Also watch your diet.. no spicy foods lots of water and lots of fiber. Good luck. Rhonda from T&T.
