Hemorrhoidectomy

I am 5 days out from my hemorrhoidectomy which was on July 21st 2009 after two weeks of horrible pain from a flare-up of IBS. I have had the hemorrhoids since the birth of my son 27 years ago and they have been a nuisance but nothing like this time. When I went to my family doctor she sent me immediately to a surgeon He scheduled the surgery as soon as possible.
