Not every hemorrhoidectomy is as bad as people say. I had one 3 weeks ago and I was no nervous to have it done after reading people’s horror stories online. The first few days after were painful. I could not take the pain medicine because it made me vommit. I would much rather have pain than vommit. My doctor kept telling me to try another type of pain killer, but the pain was tolerable.
