Oh yes, it definitely hurtsI had mine done 1st Sept 08. 3 days now. All tolerable until I actually tried to have a real BM on the 3rd day. Like trying to poo razor blades or rather I wish I could poo razor blades as it feels like they are still in there. Have taken stool softeners (to no effect). Lots of fluid (to no effect). Lots of prunes (to no effect). Eaten fruit and fiber (to no effect).

Re: Oh yes, it definitely hurtsOk, so you made it through the first couple of days...becareful with the lax. & colace, you don't want the opposite effect which can be a big setup for infection!! do you have a peribottle?? I don't know if you know what that is, but even a water bottle with a sqirt type device on the end....it is really important to keep yourself clean. I just got over mine (did you read God give me strength?) although there is pressure now moreso than pain, I still get the little bm's. I call them ASSTEROIDS.....also watch your percocet (also consipating)....are you taking a fiber supplement also? so besides the peribottle, get either witch hazel pads/tucks to help with the burning sensation as the healing starts...and A&D ointment helps too. good luck, I'll check back with you later this week....jd
