Hernia Repair

I am devastated by being told AFTER MY HERNIA OPERATON MY DR. NEEDS TO REMOVE WATER BECAUSE I AM SWOLLEN….i thought the surgery was over and done with after he did the stitches etc..now i have to go back and see a needle take out water ..why…isnot the complete surgery over after mesh is inserted etc….why was i left with swollen belly??? I want to be asleep and anethisized when he does tis or i must find another dr. who will put me to sleep….what shall i do????
