I had hernia surgery on March 19, 2008. It's now March 23, 2008 and I'm getting around fine. I'm still a little sore, or I have what you call a little of a burning sensation. I didn't know that the surgery was going to be as painful as it really was. I have learned that you use your stomach muscles more than what you think. I still can't do a few things like lift heavy things or bend over to do things, but other than that I didn't have a bad experience.
