Hysterectomy

I had sx in Sept. to remove cervix/uterus, ovaries stayed. I have had this painful bump right above my incision towards the middle. My MD said it was an ingrown hair and he he took tweezers to remove it. I still feel the bump which jabs me with mvt. It feels sharp. Can this be a suture (he said he use dissolveable ones) or is it a knot where he tied me together? Can it be fixed? I’m so afraid he would have to cut me open again.
