Getting back into shape - how soon after a hysterectomy

Post a new topicby lagrawu on Sat Feb 07, 2009 10:06 pm

I just had a total hysterectomy and am recuperating well. I would like to really stay on top of getting back into shape and am wondering what kind of exercises I will be able to start and how soon. I used to do 8-Minute Abs and some yoga stretches etc., some walking, too. I'm thinking I'll probably be able to start doing some of these at 8 weeks but am wondering if there are simple exercises I could be doing in the meantime. I had my surgery 2-1/2 weeks ago. I do not want to rush anything but do want to investigate now so that I can put together a good plan.
