Laparoscopic fundoplication

Dec. 12th I had Laparoscopic nissen fundoplication surgery. I am so pleased with it. I suffered with gerd for 38 years. Today is Dec. 26th though I am eating smaller meals I am eating everything without gerd/reflux. I had the surgery on the 12th and went home Dec. 14th in the afternoon. I had a lot of different tests before the surgeon would do the surgery. I had the ph monitoring and a manography that is where they put a tube through your nose into your esphoghaus. I am glad the surgery went well for you. Eating smaller meals is the thing to do. Be sure to chew your food up real good too. I had the same tests done, and the manography is definetely the worst. I'm glad to hear that this surgery does go smoothly for some people. good luck to you.
