Nissen Fundoplication

I had this surgery a couple of years ago after suffering through the pain and suffering of GERD and all the nastiness that accompanies it, i.e. raw throat, diminished speech, regurgitating after meals, the horrible middle of the night acid reflux and aspiration of acid into the lungs. The nissen fundoplication totally fixed the acid issue, and my throat has pretty much if not totally healed.
