Complications?

Post a new topicby mjcbowers on Thu Oct 15, 2009 12:18 pm

I'm 14 months post Nissen. Immediately following surgery up until about 2 months ago, I experienced chest pain (felt like a stabbing feeling, while someone was sitting on my chest. this did radiate into my back, shoulders, arms, and jaw creating a panic feeling throughout my body and instantaneous sweat) immediately following eating (w/in 30mins). I've come accustom to the pain so I really don't feel the chest pain anymore, but have had multiple tests to see if everything is okay and everything does check out; however I have lost a total of 70lbs and continue to loose weight. There is no explanation to this as for the past 3 months I am now consuming more food than ever in my life. I weigh less now than when I was 9 years old I'm 5'7" and 110lbs (used to body-build therefore; was not obese to begin with). I guess for most people this would be a good thing, but now I'm getting concerned. I am now experiencing hyperactive bowel "sounds". The pain was normal for me, I have been assured that the wrap is not too tight but is this a sign of another complication not yet found? Any info on these types of symptoms please respond.
