Long term nissen

Post a new topicby rach on Wed Feb 25, 2009 6:16 pm

I had an open nissen when I was 5 months old. At age 18 I started to have stomach problems with digestion and was getting sick after I ate, so I went to an internist and she wanted to know exactly what occurred with this surgery. But due to the length of time that passed I was unable to get my medical records. I am now 29 years old and I am able to burp and vomit (not exactly like any other person can).
Is this normal? I didn't think this was supposed to happen.
