I thought I would give another update. I had turned in my story Mach 12, 2009 already on this site. My surgery was on the 4th of March. It has almost been two weeks now since my surgery. I am now off of all pain meds. When I do open my bowels there is a slight sting at the place where the incision was made. It is bareable. I think one more week of sitz baths and stool softners should do the trick.
