Brain Injury/Optic nerve/Vision loss

Post a new topicby Guest on Fri Sep 06, 2002 10:26 pm

I am losing sight in both eyes. Vision in my right eye is 20/60 and last week i was told the vision in my left eye is 20/25. I had a fall 2/14/01. A brain scan showed a mass and lesions. A MRI on the L4,L5,and L6 showed disk protrusion. I am getting numbness on the right side: fingers, upper shoulder, leg, and foot. My medical doctor requested a MRI of the c-spine and it showed disk protrusion at c4, c5 & c6. As of 1/9/02 I noticed a loss in vision only with the right eye. I have been seen a neuro optomologist since 2/28/02 and he said I had optic neuritis, fake tumor and sclertis.
MS was ruled out 3/39/02. Prednisone has not helped since February 28,2002.
I am geeting astrange sensation or crawling in the back of the head and it moves to the right temporal area. Ringing in the right ear. I went to Ear/Nose/throat and I've lost some hearing also.

Can damage to the spine/nerves due to a fall cause all these medical problems?
Please reply because I am desprate due to the various medicines and little improvment in medical condition.

Thanks in advance
