Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

Hi, I had cervical fusion at c5 c6 in January 2000. I had been thrown from a motorcycle onto a car. I am having constant pain in my neck thoracic a,burning, numbness.I am going to a pain clinic I giving Baclofen ultram so far it has not helped. I also have to go a CT scan to rule out a new disk problem or facet joint disease. do think is going on? I thought surgery would have helped me, I still have chronic pain. Thank . Sue

It is good that you are going for an evaluation and having a CT. Many things, such as muscle spasm. soft tissue inflammation, facet changes can be occurring, and the CT will be be helpful for some of these. Other medications can also be used for pain control. Good luck.
