diagnosedchronic DDD/SPINAL STENOSIS, WITH PARALAYSIS IN LOWER LEFT LEG AND UPPER ARAfter exhausting all the non surgigal methods, chiropracters, pills, epidurals, etc would i now be a canditate for any form of surgery to alleviate if not some of the pain but slowing down the symptoms, as at the moment my quality of life is nil, and the option of live with it is not one i accept from my specialist.
Re: diagnosedchronic DDD/SPINAL STENOSIS, WITH PARALAYSIS IN LOWER LEFT LEG AND UPPER ARIt sounds like you are really in a great deal of pain. You should speak with you doctors about other froms of treatment, as only they can determine whether or not surgery would be of benefit. Good luck.

Re: Re: diagnosedchronic DDD/SPINAL STENOSIS, WITH PARALAYSIS IN LOWER LEFT LEG AND UPPER ARI thank you for your advice, but i would be so grateful if you could at least indicate to me whether i can approach the specialist with a surgery alternative, rather than the possibility of yet agin being offered the cordal epidural procedure as has been tried, and as i was told really a last resort. The specialist has told me that the condition is worsening, yet the treatments he says are exhausted.
I would be so happy if you could at least arm me with some alternatives that i may be able to explore. Many thnaks for your valuable time Chris from the UK. Re: Re: Re: Re: diagnosedchronic DDD/SPINAL STENOSIS, WITH PARALAYSIS IN LOWER LEFT LEG AND UPPER ARUnfortunately, I could not make any suggestions without reviewing the MRI of the spine and performing a clinical exam. Each case is different, but those two pieces of information are crucial in determining what modes of treatment are best.
