Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Jun 04, 2002 3:28 pm

I have suffered lower back pain around L3 and L4 which has gradully go worse over the last 4 months. I finally went one day at work and i collapsed to the floor. My doctor is usless just mutters and prescribes voltorol and ussers me out the door. Now today while lying conpletely still I have started getting severe stabbing pains in my right kidney which the main pain been constant with my heart beat after a minute or two it disappers could this be related?
I have booked to see a chiropractor would it be within my interests to push him into giving me an x-ray?

Thankyou in advance

I would see a medical doctor to first find out what the problem is. Seeing a neurologist may also be helpful once your doctor rules out other things, such as a kidney stone or medical issue. X-rays of the spine may not necessarily be the best test, but a careful exam and history would be most helpful.
