LUMBAR DISCS

Post a new topicby Guest on Tue Dec 25, 2001 3:33 pm

I would like to ask a general question about lumbar discs please.

Do you know if there is such a thing as a replacement disc or if there are any studies on the idea ? The intervertebral disc seems to be the only joint left in the body for which there is no replacement !

Thanks.

I suspect the technology will be available one day, but I am not aware of the research in this field at this time.
