***PLEASE HELP, NOT SURE WHAT IS WRONG

Post a new topicby tarmale on Tue Nov 06, 2007 11:42 am

Good morning, I'm hoping someone out there can help me. I'm posting this under
spinal cord injury because I don't know exactly what the problem is.
I am a 37 year old female who, for the past 4 years, has been having the following
symptoms:

I went to a chiropracter in April of 2003. It was the first time I had ever gone to
one. He adjusted me so forcefully that I almost blacked out. About three weeks
later, my eyes were twitching uncontrollably and I had a line of numbness across
my left cheek to my nose. My dr. sent me for an MRI and it was discovered that
I had three bulging disks in my neck. I was given no treatment but I was in horrible pain
for months from muscle spasms up and down my back and in my neck.
Massage therapy was the only thing that helped as the physical therapists made
it worse. Since then I get "flare ups" where my eye twitches, my face gets numb
but also I get random numbness, twitches and spasms all over my body. This sometimes
lasts a week or up to a couple of months. I've been to neurologists and asked what
it could be but they either dismiss it as stress or that it's in my head. I also brought
up the possiblilty of MS but I was told no, definitely not. Another doctor told me the
bulging disks flare up and hit the spinal nerves and this is what causes these random
problems. Does anyone else have something like this or know what this might be?
I have two small children and cannot drag them with me to all these doctors. I just
want to know what is going on already.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!!!
