Post a new topicby Guest on Sun Jun 03, 2001 12:12 pm

I've had a C5-C6 fusion two years ago a ruptured disc, diagnosed last year an L5-S1 herniation, DDD, an upper thoracic group dysfunction had several months of PT felt much better since January. However, recently I've had a couple of episodes of feels like an electric shock in my lower thoracic/upper lumbar a lasts a second or two radiates horizontally around my trunk. onset is sudden out provocation, (usually while sitting still) literally takes my breath away intensity. I have no or marked symptoms, except some discomt in my mid-back. Should I be concerned?

You should let your doctor know about those symptoms. There rae different possibilities for that type of pain whihc include that related to processes in the spine, however intra-abdominal, vascular, kidney related etc can present with back pain and should be evaluated.
